Secure Information Sharing with CDIP

Security First solutions offer a true data-centric solution to the cross-domain information sharing (CDIS) challenges associated with traditional stove-piped information management and storage architectures. Unlike highly heterogeneous and isolated systems that make sharing information within and across networks difficult and complex, SecureParser®’s storage and network capabilitiesenable organizations to securely share information between different domains and communities of interest (COI) from within the same IT infrastructure.

Protect data on common networks.

The SecureParser enabled solution, Unisys Stealth product, secures data from end to end, providing the most efficient way to protect network data against unwanted access. Data enters the network protected, and remains protected at rest and in motion until it accessed at a network end point controlled by an authorized user or system.

Protect data in common storage systems.

SecureParser splits data at the bit level into physically separate shares, transparently embeds confidentiality, integrity, and high availability into each share, and then stores the shares in physically separate locations until they are reconstituted by an authorized and authenticated user or system. The data-centric Cryptographic Data Splitting Technique ensures that no meaningful information is susceptible to compromise because it never lands on any one storage device or system.

Establish simple single sign-on controlled access.

SecureParser can build role- and identity-based security right into the data without the need for complicated external encryption key management. By invoking a workgroup key that allows the creation of groups of users (COI) that can access data, SecureParser prevents malicious network penetrations and insider threats, and provides built-in fault tolerance to ensure that information is continuously available to the employees, partners, customers, or constituents who are authenticated and authorized to access it.
