Security, Availability, Integrity and Sharing

SPxCore uses a combination of encryption, random splitting of data (at the bit, byte, object or blob level), integrity checks, fault tolerance, and a COI/CDIS (Communities of Interest/Cross Domain Information Sharing) framework. This technology is built around the SFC discovered science of multi-factored secret sharing. Unlike other Information Assurance (IA) approaches that rely on complex and costly perimeter-based protection, SPxCore is the only single technology to simultaneously provide data protection, integrity, and availability by making it inherent in the data itself for as long as it exists. SPxCore can be integrated into any existing product that stores/accesses data or transmits/receives data across networks. The result is a transformation of the data that is completely transparent to the user and user applications, and can be seamlessly applied throughout an enterprise.

Simplified Key Management

SPxCore eliminates the necessity of key management outside of the module. Within the core there is a key management component that, for most purposes, can be ignored by the application and all internal key management functionality remains transparent to the user. Encryption and session keys are split and stored with the data requiring no outside storage. So only workgroup key storage is necessary. SPxCore works with any external key management system.
